Currently, R3 Stem Cell’s Allogeneic Natural Killer Cell Therapies are performed in Tijuana Mexico. R3’s immunotherapy clinic is in a medical high rise building that is literally three minutes over the border from San Diego. Free ground transportation is included from San Diego to the immunotherapy clinic in Mexico and back.

The GMP lab that produces the NK cells, SanMiguel Labs, is registered with Cofepris, which is the Mexican FDA. R3’s scientists assist with the NK cell processing and extensive quality control. The Certificate of Analysis below shows the criteria evaluated to ensure that the NK cells are not only safe to use, but pure and potent.

In the Certificate of Analysis below (which is in Spanish), you can see the various sections detailing both the quantity, quality, sterility and disease testing of the NK cells. Because the NK cells are not cryopreserved, NK cell viability is 99%. Flow cytometry is used with surface markers to ascertain both the quantity of NK cells along with their quality. Patients can rest assured that they are receiving first rate immunotherapy with NK cells that are not only adequate in numbers, but also viability, potency and sterility.
